Entwicklung eines Bildungscurriculums
Gefördert durch das europäische Sokrates-Programm (Grundvig 1) haben wir in einem europäischen Partnerinnennetzwerk ein zukunftsweisendes Bildungscurriculum für frauenpolitische Akteurinnen und Multiplikatorinnen unter dem Motto „Empowering Women to active European Citizenship“ (kurz: ewec) entwickelt (Projektabschluss: Ende 2004). Partnerinnen aus 5 Ländern waren kontinuierlich an den Konferenzen und Arbeitstreffen beteiligt (Spanien, Tschechische Republik, Österreich, Belgien und Deutschland). Andere Länder partizipierten punktuell (Polen, Serbien, Schweiz). Deutschland-Partner ist die Frauengenossenschaft WeiberWirtschaft, für die ich die ewec-Partnerschaft übernahm. In meiner Verantwortung lag insbesondere der Bereich „Developing Democracy“.

Big Chance for Gender Democracy in Europe
„The European enlargement and integration is a big challenge and a big chance for Gender Democracy in Europe. Big challenges do need good instruments to shape them strategically and sustainable. ewec provides an innovative setting of learning tools to face this challenge and to train intercultural learning and international cooperation. ewec is based on the focused expertise of the international womens movements, the scientific knowledge of women and gender studies and the practical knowledge European citizens will need in future to become (more) influential! …“
